Pediatric Physical Therapy (PT) is a specialty that treats a wide range of diagnoses from birth to 18 years of age.
We specialize in the treatment of neurodevelopmental and orthopedic conditions.
A child is not a mini adult and therefore, should not be treated as such. It is important that a consultation with a specialized pediatric physical therapist is sought out early to allow the practitioner to determine your child’s needs.
With infant’s in particular, early intervention is key. Our team at Jump Start Physical Therapy and Training, is trained to treat babies as young as a few weeks old.
We make it easy for your child to receive the best care possible by coming to your home and treating them in their most comfortable setting.
We believe all therapy should be fun and engaging and utilize purposeful play to target age appropriate motor development.

Sports related injuries in children are common.
Often times children are specializing in their sport at a younger age and playing nearly year round which can possibly increase the chance for an overuse injury.
We also specialize in treating post-operative athletes.
We are passionate about working with athletes who have undergone an ACL reconstruction and returning them to their beloved sport at their prior level or better.
We understand the many challenges in sports rehabilitation and provide an encouraging and motivating environment for our athletes to succeed.
Additionally, at Jump Start Physical Therapy and Training, we have extensive training in treating performance artists, especially working with dancers.
It is important that your athlete be treated by a knowledgeable, highly skilled clinician to ensure proper treatment and great results.
In order for our athletes to succeed they must rehab and train like athletes too!
